Qupital secures US$15M Series A led by CreditEase FinTech Investment Fund (CEFIF). The funds will be used for Greater China expansion, technology and risk management upgrade, and cross-border e-commerce finance development.
Qupital announced today its entrance to the cross-border e-commerce market. Its new system is now in operation, providing suppliers across leading e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, eBay, Tmall, Koala and JD.com with quick and quality supply chain finance services.
Qupital has formed a partnership with Alibaba.com, the leading wholesale marketplace for global trade, to strengthen its own invoice financing platform to facilitate trade for SMEs in Hong Kong.
Qupital has secured a seed investment round of USD $2M led by Alibaba Entrepreneurs Fund andMindWorks Ventures. The funds will be used to expand its SME market and fuel its rapid regional expansion.
